Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was in a convenient location for the wedding celebration we attended, but some areas of the property seemed a bit dated. The rooms were spacious and well-equipped, although the security light from the glass front door was a bit intrusive during sleep. The service was friendly, but the staff seemed ill-prepared at times. The dining options were simple yet nice, but we opted to eat in town for a change. Overall, a mix of positives and negatives.
The hotel offers a unique room setup with 2 connected rooms, each with its own entrance and bathtub, accessible via a narrow staircase. The rooms are tiny and poorly designed, which could be challenging with luggage. The service is exceptional, with staff accommodating requests even at odd hours. The location is a bit out of town but still convenient, though lacking internet signal. The dining experience needs improvement, especially considering the price. Overall, a mixed experience with some notable drawbacks.
The hotel's location just outside Wanaka, less than 5 minutes by car, was convenient for us. However, the decor could use some sprucing up with more color and art. It's important to note that the spa resort is a bit out of town but ideal if you have a car. Despite some minor inconveniences like the awkward position and the vanishing features since my last stay three years ago, the overall experience was acceptable.
The hotel provided a mix of positives and negatives. The rooms were new and fresh with modern appliances but were hot and stuffy at times. The service was attentive to my needs and the staff were friendly and easy to talk to, although they got the party shut down abruptly. The dining experience had its flaws with an overcharge and slow Wi-Fi, but the homemade desserts were a highlight.
The resort had its ups and downs. The rooms were a bit hot and stuffy initially, but once we got a better room, it was clean and well-appointed. The service was attentive to our needs, but we had a few issues with appliances and cleaning. The location was excellent for the wedding celebration we attended but a bit far from Wanaka center. The dining experience was a bit overpriced, and the facilities were decent overall.
